  • Is there any evidence to prove that the Prophet Aaron was buried there?

  • Where is the burial site of nabi Harun?

  • The burial site is supposed to be where the mosque itself is and under the picture of the tomb above.

  • Salam.

i went to petra with my friends for the sole purpose of going there, but by the time we arrived (around noon) they told us its too late and u have to go really early in the morning. did u sleep in petra before going there? what time did u leave to get there? how long was the walk? did u go alone or with a guide?

thanks for the info, i'd like to give it another shot soon.

  • Silencer - apologies for the delay

We went at night from Wadi Rum to Petra and yes spent the night there. We set off for the site at around 9am as we were told its around 6 hours there and back..

We walked into the main site and just made some enquiries about going and then got surrounded by all these guys with their donkeys. In the end we concluded on paying 15jd each. We had no "guide" but two of the donkey owners came with us.

    Hope this helps.
